Any market consists of three basic users:

1. Premium Users - Only looking for the best regardless of cost
2. Convenience Users - Cost may be a factor but convenience is the key
3. Economy Users - Cost conscious with their purchase

I often see businesses attempt to blur the lines between the three categories and it rarely works.

If you have a premium product but charge economy prices, the average customer becomes confused.

“How can this one be better when it is that much cheaper?” - I have been guilty of this thought process in the past.

Pick your target user base and then run with it. Your target users will more easily identify you.
